Unpolished and unfiltered. Just real life, caught in the moment.
Good Livin’ from the Ground Up
Here’s a couple outlaw country boys with a Brahman calf — softest hide you’ll ever feel. Must’ve been my oldest brother’s 4-H show calf, ‘cause only a loved one gets that gentle. I remember riding him bareback, laughing through the yard, right up until he was turned out to pasture. That was country fun — no screens, no rush, just freedom and dirt between our toes.
My parents loved the simple life, just like their folks before them. We were raised on work, faith, family, and a strong sense of enough. DC and Hollywood didn’t matter much — we lived by our own code. If a man did right by his people, kept his word, and pulled his weight, he was already rich.
We didn’t chase culture. We carried on tradition. And that made all the difference.
That’s what SphstRDnck is about — not going back in time, but bringing the best of where we came from into the life we’re building now. Adapting, growing, staying rooted.
That calf, that moment — it reminds us:
Progress don’t mean forgetting where you came from.
It means moving forward without losing who you are.
Read on for this week’s story and video — and see how the SphstRDnck way keeps showing up, one dirt road at a time.
