Robert Redford

Drifted Too Far From the Campfire.

Redford started with cowboy promise—Jeremiah Johnson, The Natural, rugged roles with strong moral codes. But over time, he became a mouthpiece for elite environmentalism and the kind of globalist progressivism that often talks at the common man instead of with him.

He built Sundance as a platform for artists, but it turned into a Hollywood echo chamber. Redford’s values may have once aligned with heartland ideals, but now he seems far removed from the folks who live between the coasts.
