NBC News still pretends to wear the badge of objectivity, but don’t be fooled—it’s owned by Comcast, one of the biggest telecom giants on Earth. That means news with a filter, massaged to keep shareholders happy and politicians close.
If Comcast dropped the filter? You’d hear a whole lot more about protecting corporate interests, keeping the tech monopoly rolling, pushing green energy for profit (not principle), and making sure global markets stay open to their media empire. You wouldn’t hear much about the real struggles of small-town America, broken systems, or the actual cost of globalization on the working class. You’d hear what helps Comcast’s bottom line: control the narrative, sell the illusion, keep the ad dollars flowing.
