The Banker in the Hot Seat.
Jerome Powell, as Fed Chair, carries the fate of the economy in his briefcase. He talks slow, moves cautiously, and tends to sound more like a spreadsheet than a streetfighter. Still, he’s done his best to steer through storms—pandemics, inflation, political pressure—while trying to keep Main Street afloat.
But let’s be honest—Powell’s world is too sanitized, too stitched-up. He doesn’t ruffle feathers, doesn’t take many public stands, and doesn’t show much of a blue-collar bone. Just as most central bank heads have done for generations.
Verdict: Not SphstRDnck.
Smart, steady… but too soft for our side of the fence.
