The American Israel Public Affairs Committee is a heavyweight lobby with deep pockets and deeper influence in Washington. It’s a well-oiled machine that shapes U.S. foreign policy, especially in the Middle East.
But with great power comes great controversy — questions of loyalty, backroom deals, and whether AIPAC’s agenda truly serves the American people. When members of Congress thank Israel before they thank the folks back home, there’s a loyalty problem, plain and simple.
