Southern Baptist Convention

 Grit Fading Into the Fog.

The SBC used to be the backbone of working-class Christianity in America — tight-knit churches, strong families, fire-and-brimstone sermons, and community picnics. But over the last decade, it’s been pulled into the same pit as every other institution — scandals, politics, apologies, and endless infighting.

Pastors more worried about Twitter mobs than the Ten Commandments. Leaders chasing headlines instead of heaven. Still good folks in the pews — but the leadership feels distant, confused, and corporate.

Verdict: Slipping from SphstRDnck.

The bones are strong, but the flesh is growing soft.
